Brianhead

Last month, Dan's sister Charlene and her fam were taking a weekend trip to Brianhead and invited us to stay with them.. actually what really happened is Dan talked them into going and then we invited ourselves to their condo, but that's just a minor detail!
I had never been to Brianhead, and didn't realize how much snow they get up there! It was a Winter Wonderland, and we had an amazing view from the condo.

Saturday was beautiful! The air was crystal clear and it was the perfect day to be out in the snow.

Sunday was a different story..

There was so much snow, we barely made it to church just down the street! The best part is that we all showed up in our snow clothes, looking pretty awesome walking in 15 minutes late with our hat-hair and smeared makeup from the blizzard. It was quite the scene! Luckily we didn't get any pictures of that..

Backtracking to Saturday.. Dan, Paul and the older girls went skiing and snowboarding while the rest of us had fun hanging out at the condo. One of these winter's I'm not going to be pregnant so that I can go too!

We went sledding in the late afternoon. Besides it being FREEZING cold, it was actually a lot of fun. The best part for me was watching Logan's reactions to everything.. or the lack thereof. You could tell he didn't hate it, but it was so new and scary that he couldn't act too excited about it.

This was his expression most of the time. Every once in awhile I would catch a little smile on his face!

On Monday, we went to the little sledding hill again. This time Dan attempted to make a jump.. here's how it went..bahahaha

Apparently it's harder to steer a sled than it is a snowboard. Charlene definitely proved this theory :)

It was such a fun weekend and gave us a chance to hang out with family, relax, and introduce Logan to the snow since this winter has been so disappointing in Provo.
